As you know, our London Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ squad is affiliated to Checkmat, the international team which has its HQ in São Paulo, Brazil and which was founded by Leo and Ricardo Vieira. It has affiliated teams in, not only the UK, but also Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, Sweden,Ireland, Malaysia, United States, Paraguay, Spain, France, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Germany, Japan, Singapore and Australia.
We’re delighted to announce that the latest academy to join the Checkmat team is that run by Carl Fisher, a BJJ Brown Belt, who also trains at London Fight Factory.
Carl holds Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes every Monday (8:15-9:30pm) and Wednesday (7:30-8:45pm) at the Holistic Fitness Studios, 40 Broadway Court, Wimbledon, SW19 1RG
