Our head coach Luiz Ribeiro (Manxinha) proved once again why he’s the driving force behind our success, securing top spots in two divisions. Between his podium finishes and capturing an iconic photo with the legendary Roger Gracie, Luiz continues to inspire everyone at London Fight Factory—both on and off the mats.

  • GI Division: Narrow losses, including a 0-0 (0-2 advantages) match—his best IBJJF performance to date.
  • No-GI Division: Lost by north-south choke, but scored points against a seasoned black belt with major wins at ADCC and AJP.

Kris left the mats without a medal this time, but his technical and strategic improvements made him proud of his performance. This is what competition is truly about—development, resilience, and taking one step forward each time.

  • Trains at least four times a week, embracing every challenge with dedication and discipline.
  • Became the first student from Barraco to secure an IBJJF gold medal after three tough matches.

This accomplishment is a testament to the power of commitment. Special thanks go out to Manxinha Luiz Ribeiro for his mentorship, and to everyone who contributed to Nuri’s success.
