China and I look after all the Muay Thai classes here at London Fight Factory. Muay Thai, sometimes known as the science of eight limbs, is a striking martial art centred around devastating punching, kicking, knee and elbow attacks used in combination with a type of upper body wrestling called clinching.
I have been practicing combat sports for over 30 years and teaching for about half that time. Starting with Kyokushin Karate at the age of 6, I then moved on to Boxing, Kickboxing and Muay Thai, competing across all three disciplines and winning titles and accolades under Muay Thai rules especially.
I have also competed in Powerlifting at a national level and am an experienced Strength & Conditioning coach.
I love teaching and passing on the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years from training with great coaches and competing all over the world. I have coached people from complete beginners to professional fighters competing for titles, and my classes and 1:1 sessions are tailored accordingly.
My training style is a no-nonsense approach focusing on sound fundamentals and body mechanics to develop good movement patterns, strength and power development, and a hard work ethic.
