Our Instructors
Our instructors and assistant coaches are highly skilled, approachable and professional and the classes they teach can roughly be divided into three categories: those that focus on stand up striking such as Boxing and Muay Thai; those that focus on grappling, takedowns and/or ground work such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Wrestling; and those that blend everything together – such as MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and Sambo.
Our Disciplines
More detail about the disciplines that we teach here can be found at Classes. If you would like to book a free trial class in either Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai Kick Boxing, Sambo or Wrestling, please complete the form here or email us to get started.
Our team of instructors are also available for private tuition in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Sambo, Wrestling and Strength and Conditioning. All classes take place at London Fight Factory itself.
Frequently asked questions
I’ve never trained before, can I still join your classes?
Yes, we have lots of complete beginners that start training with us, and they are all very well looked after.
Do I need to get fit before I join?
No, just come down and start training, and start learning. You will get fitter and fitter over time as you join more lessons. If you have any health conditions and/or injuries please let us know about these, and how they affect you, as we will need to discuss these with you. Depending on how serious they are, you may find it useful to speak to your physio/doctor about your plans to start training with us first.
What equipment do I need?
To start with, for your first few classes, you’ll only need shorts/joggers/leggings and a t-shirt with no zips and/or buttons on any item.
Can I train in more than one discipline?
Yes, you can train in different classes but must attend lessons that are appropriate for your level of skill.
Can I compete?
Yes, lots of our members compete in all the disciplines we teach here.
How old do I need to be to join your regular group classes?
Most of our members are 18 and over but, if you’re a few years younger than this, please send us an email so we can discuss your options. If you’re under 18, we do need to check that your parents/guardians are happy for you to train with us. And we also have Children’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes for those aged 6-15.
Am I too old to join?
No, most of our members are in their twenties and thirties but the number of those training in their forties and fifties (and beyond) is growing too. Age is definitely not a barrier but, as we get older, we do need to consider things – such as the impact that each martial art will have on our body – a little more. Especially, if we haven’t trained in that discipline before.
I want to train at London Fight Factory but I don’t know which martial art to start with
Please have a look at the videos on this site, on our Instagram and YouTube pages etc. so you get a good idea of what each discipline involves. You’ll see most focus on striking or grappling whereas MMA is a blend of both. You’re then very welcome to visit and watch some lessons, which should help you decide where you want to start your martial arts journey.
